Museo de las Americas is a thriving art, educational, and historical institution residing in the Santa Fe Historic District of Denver, Colorado. It proposes a phased growth where it currently inhabits two buildings, owns five adjacent lots and is considering the purchase of additional property.

The mission of the Museo de las Americas is to foster understanding and appreciation for the achievements of the Latino people of the Americas by collecting, preserving and interpreting the diverse cultures inhabiting this region from ancient times to the present.

The overall objective is to create an arts complex serving the people of the Santa Fe District, the community of Denver, and the arts community at large. The architectural program consists of state-of-the-art changing and permanent exhibit spaces, administrative areas, a flexible education and community facility, artist-in-residence housing and studios, commercial spaces consistent with the goals of the Museo, and outdoor public spaces.
